Valentines’ Day Beauty Rituals

Get yourself in the mood for this romantic holiday

A Valentine’s Day date with your special someone can be an exciting time to anticipate; especially if you are both busy! This Valentine’s Day get in the mood by creating a Valentine’s Day beauty ritual to help ignite the passion in your body and mind.

Mud and Scrub
Start your ritual off in the shower with a full body mud mask, such as the JAFRA Spa Mud Mask, which combines clays, Vitamin E and antioxidants to help deeply cleanse your skin and remove any toxins. Follow it with a luxurious body scrub. Look for one that combines sugar or salt with moisturizers; your skin will be super clean and feel silky soft.

Soft, silky hair
Dry, rough or  product-heavy hair can be very unromantic. While you’re in the shower, shampoo and condition your hair as normal and apply a moisturizing hair mask, like JAFRA’s Moisture Replenish Hair Mask, to make hair soft and manageable. Follow with a nourishing hair oil to add shine and sexiness.

Feel feminine with fragrance
The right scent can change your mood and your date’s as well! After you are done in the shower, spritz your favorite romantic fragrance on your key pulse points - behind your neck, inside of your wrists, and behind your knees. You can even spray your perfume into the air and walk through the mist to smell fabulous from your head to your toes. Look for romantic fragrances that contain floral scents, like Paris et Moi from JAFRA, a feminine fragrance which blends rose with silky woods for a sophisticated and alluring scent.

Glow from within
The last step in your Valentine’s Day ritual is to create a lit-from-within glow perfect for a romantic candle light dinner! Create this look by applying a cream highlighter under your foundation. Apply to your cheekbones, forehead and the outer corners of your eyes. Use a sponge to blend foundation all over your face for a dreamy look. Go with a moisturizing lip gloss for a kissable pout; lipstick can be too intimidating. Sweep a sweet, cream blush across your cheeks and finally, curl your lashes before applying a couple of coats of mascara to finish your look.
