Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Hans ter Pelle was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of JAFRA Cosmetics International, Inc. (JAFRA) effective July, 1^st 2011. In this position and as a member of the JAFRA Management Board, Hans reports to the President and CEO of JAFRA and holds a strategic role in the overall management of the company. He will have primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. Based in Westlake Village, California, JAFRA is one of the largest direct sales companies of skin care, beauty and fragrance products in the world, offering its Consultants compelling careers and income opportunities. JAFRA is a division of the Vorwerk Group, a German-based, international direct sales supplier of superior products for the home.

In his 13-year career with Vorwerk Hans has most recently held the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of HECTAS, the division of Vorwerk for facility services in 9 European countries.  In this position, he was responsible for developing and ensuring the implementation of strategies and plans for the growth and long-term competitiveness of HECTAS.   Before assuming the role of CEO HECTAS, Hans held several other senior management positions within the HECTAS Group, including Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for HECTAS from 2005–2008. 

Hans has his MBA from the Business School Nederland and has studied Business Economics in Enschede and Rotterdam, Netherlands.
